THE BEGINNING
I'm a home buddy.
Unapologetically.
I work from home most days, hybrid on the others. Which means my space isn’t just where I live · it’s where I think, where I create, where I return. And if there’s one thing I’ve always cared about, it’s a home that feels unmistakably mine.
When I step out, I want to come back to something that shifts my shoulders down the second I open the door. Something welcoming. My own quiet haven. And when I go to work, I want the opposite · a room that gives me back my energy the moment I walk in.
For years, I curated that feeling by hand · pulling threads from hotels I loved, homes I stayed in, small ceremonies I watched other people build. I was collecting a language for atmosphere long before I knew that’s what it was called.
WHERE IT REALLY BEGAN
I got more intentional about how a room feels after I lost my dad.
In the middle of that grief, I found something steady in curating the feeling of home. That’s the real moment Zoleya was born. Not as a business idea first, but something I needed myself.
Fragrance became more than something pleasant in the background. It became a way to hold onto comfort on the days that had none of it left. It was refreshing, and it was mine, and it helped me heal.
Every Zoleya scent is designed around a feeling first. I did not set out to make fragrance. I set out to bottle the feeling of walking into a room that is yours.
